Half Iron Man Training
Iron Cowboy / Ramblin Man Double Feature includes "Iron Cowboy" and "Ramblin Man" "Iron Cowboy" - "Iron Cowboy" is an off beat romantic comedy about opposites who attract while living through the hurly-burly schedule of a film shoot. Arriving in Mexico to work as an editor on a film, a young cosmopolitan city woman (Barbara Loden) surprises herself and everyone else when she finds herself falling for a handsome and charismatic ranch hand (Burt Reynolds) who is working as a driver during the film's location shoot. Initially drawn together due to the "anything goes" sense of location shooting, the pair quickly discover that despite their differences they are forging a serious connection. But are they going to make it past the final reel? Showcasing standout performance from its two talented leads, "Irony Cowboy" is also notable for its star cameos by the likes of Terence Stamp and Sally Kirkland. "Ramblin Man" - Imagine the antics of "Smokey And The Bandit" crossed with the cowboy code of the old Wild West and you have "Ramblin' Man." Jumping a freight train to head for the coast, Midwestern transplants Will (Tom Selleck) and J.D. (Jerry Reed) accidentally end up in Nashville, Tennessee. The accidents continue as the hapless pair is mistaken for private investigators by a young woman (Morgan Fairchild) who is searching for her missing sister. Will and J.D. need the work, so they take her up on it, regardless of the fact that they know next to nothing about hunting down missing, would-be country singers. The case takes Will and J.D. through Nashville's country music scene, brushing shoulders with a great assortment of C&W talent, such as Barbara Mandrell, Roy Acuff, and Ray Stevens. The two men encounter adventures galore and meet a ton of memorable characters in this high-spirited, rip-roaring cowboy romp. Now if they could only solve the case. Packaging Type is Side-by-Side.
A Much Younger Man by Dianne Highbridge, Aly is a thirty-five-year-old high-school English teacher, recently divorced. One day, after school instead of driving home she takes the train and she meets Tom. His mother, once Aly's schoolmate, is now a successful college professor. They have grown apart, but Aly still considers her to be her best friend. After this first accidental encounter, Tom and Aly meet again, and again. She finds herself taking the train now instead of driving, looking forward to this interlude. Tom is tall, blond, handsome, an athlete, intelligent, sensitive. He confesses that he has fancied Aly for years. He tells her that he's in Love with her. She finds herself unable to resist him and their affair begins. For a time, as long as they can keep it a secret, it is as wonderful as either could have hoped. They are, indeed, perfectly suited in every way but one. The problem is that Tom is half her age, a much younger man.
